The show, featuring 11 principal dancers and other famous dancers of the prestigious Berlin-based company, includes classical ballet masterpieces as well as jewels of neoclassical and contemporary ballet by Tchaikovsky, Bizet, Hndel, Bach, Adam and Minkus and Jacques Brel. Folosind o sonorizare si lumini impresionante, dans si muzica live, alaturi de costume stralucitoare, Rhythm of the Dance pastreaza traditia pasilor irlandezi, pe care ii prezinta in cel mai modern si inovator format. Ireland\'s National Dance Company Rhythm of the Dance\" comes back to Romania for the third time, on February 19th, with a completely new show of authentic traditional dance and music. With an impressive array of lights, sound, costumes, dance and live music, Rhythm of the Dance\" keeps alive the tradition of Irish dancing, which it presents in the most modern and innovative of formats. Expozitiile Tapiseriile regale (1600-1800)\", de la Muzeul National de Arta al Romaniei (MNAR) si Reinnoirea tapiseriei contemporane, din 1950 pana in zilele noastre\", de la Muzeul National de Arta Contemporana (MNAC), pot fi vizitate pana la 26 februarie. Deschise la 9 decembrie 2011, ele prezinta, in pandant, evolutia artei tapiseriei de-a lungul secolelor. Expozitia de la MNAR prezinta 20 de tapiserii realizate in secolele XVII- XVIII in celebrele manufacturi Gobelins de la Paris, pentru a decora resedinte regale. Tapiseriile, in expozitii pandant TAPESTRIES ON DISPLAY IN TWO EXHIBITIONS The exhibitions Royal Tapestries (1600-1800)\" at the National Art Museum of Romania (MNAR) and Renewing Contemporary Tapestry from 1950 up to the present\" at the National Contemporary Art Museum can be visited until February 26th. Opened on December 9th 2011, the exhibitions showcase the evolution of tapestry art along the centuries. The exhibition at the MNAR shows 20 tapestries made in the 17th - 18th centuries by the famous Gobelins manufacture in Paris to decorate royal houses.
